retrieve data from embedded form

Hi,

is there any way to retrieve data from an embedded form (child form) and give it back to its parent form?

As an example:
FORM2 is a subform of FORM1.
If the user looks up a field in FORM2, would it be possible to give the choosen value back to FORM1?

    Thanks a lot.
    That's exactly what I was looking for.

    In the meantime I managed to do the same thing by using the timer but the link you provided describes a much more convenient way.
