Assinging and editing security roles without being a super u

hi. i cant figure out a way to give an user ability to create and edit roles and assign roles to users. I gave the All, Security and Role Config roles to a user. However, every time they try to add a role to a user, they get an error message that they dont have read access to whatever table is included in the role i am picking.

any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

Hi Steve,

I am wondering why you don't want to give this user super role - surely (in your scenario) they can amend, create and assign roles then they can build a "Super" role and then assign it to themself?

You can't assign someone rights to objects that you don't have right to yourself, that would not be very secure would it
