Dear all,

Can any Ms dynamics Nav client(Customer) upgrade their own license (Nav 2009 to Nav 2009 SP1) without any Partner's help or interruption ??? They want to do this with the help of Microsoft only.

Kindly reply.

Its not the sort of thing we want to encourage. The partner network is there for a reason, and some of the silly things that customers try, in the misconceived belief that they will save money are wrong. In the end they spend more money fixing their mistakes.

Exactly. That's what your partner is supposed to be doing. If they are charging you a fee just to buy something for you or to send you a new license then that is another story.

Why would you need to deal directly with Microsoft?

    License file normally is something-dot-FLF

Copy to your Navision client directory your company's .flf file and remove all other .flf files. This is used only for first moment, as you connect to DB, license file from server is used anyway.

This has nothing to do with the question that was asked here....
