Web Installations of NAV-Clients
The ZIP-file contains bootstrapping and self-upgradeable installations of the NAV Classic- and Role-Tailored-Clients. It is also our idea of how the NAV-clients should be deployed and installed across the Intranet or local network. Please mind the RTC-launcher installs a very simple configuration file with server set to 'localhost:7046/DynamicsNAV'. This means the server should be changed as needed after the initial installation. Also, the RTC is started as a sample with the "Accounting Manager" profile.
SmartLauncher is an universal, easy-to-use web installer and auto-upgrader for desktop applications. It could be used for a wide variety of .NET, Java or native (x86/x64) desktop applications. The "launched" application is pre-configured, hence it requires no user interaction after the initial install-confirmation.
