Hi All,

Can anyone explain the logic behind the Serach Name Funtionality, which codeunit runs.

    There is no code unit, its internal.

    What are you trying to change?

    It is done by a property of the fields in the table.
    Check field 1:"No." in table 27:"Item". Search property "AltSearchField".

    the problem is: it doesn't work anymore in the RTC !
    If you give the "Search name" of a customer in the sales order "Sell-to No." RTC raise an error! :-k
    If you do the same in the nav classic: it works! =D>
    Workaround:
    you have to change the default "filter column" of the dropdown on the field (search name) that you added with you dev licence on the "field group" of the table 18. ](*,)

    How clever!

    I think this is the wrong way but the only I'vve found till now!

    Yep, this doesn't work on RTC. I'm not sure if this will be addressed in the future as well... :(
