Lookup flowfield

Hi All,
I have a lookup flowfield name tuck no. it comes from Vehicle master data type code(20), the format of data is TR-XXXX-1234,TR- are same for all Truck No. last four character are always numeric and unique, i want to enter last four character in truck no. field, can it get whole string.
