Problem with shape control

Is there any way to place shape controls like Horizontal Line,Rectangle,etc. at right position.
Actually i am facing problems when i am trying to join the edges of two shape controls. Its very difficult to join them. I need this for report formatting.
Can anybody help me.

Not if you are thinking in terms like the text. To my knowledge there is only hard fiddling work. Uncheck the Snap to grip, and play with placement and size.

NAV will never be the proper place to create flashy reports. If the lines, shapes etc is a must; I would suggest preprinted paper, some product to load design into the printer or integrating it to word/similar that can handle shapes and other bling.

If I use them I get as close as possible & then the Xpos & YPos properties come into play.
tweaking them a tad at a time.
