check printing on dot matrix from nav 2009

Hii,
i am using standard 1401 report in Nav 2009, I am facing problem while printing check on dot matrix printer.
alignment of the check will print crap on dot matrix but on inkjet its printing properly.can any body help me tell me the setting of the report as well as printer, i tried all those setting on printer & report also.

P.S. For cheque printing Inkjet/LaserJet are recommended. The time of Dot matrix printers are over now.
