Changing subpage editable property

Has anyone managed to switch subpage state from editable to not editable (and back)?

I got simple standard Sales Quote (switched to editable mode) and tried all options including Editable property of the subpage, updating subpage editable status, updating editable status of the repeater on subpage - nothing helps.
If the subpage is initially editable it remains editable all the time.

Any ideas?

Have exactly the same issue.

It does not seem to work correctly.

Have you found anything on it? Any work around (except creating separate page)?

The editable is decided by the page type used.
