Problems when adding a new company in NAV2009SP1

Hello,

One of my customers is trying to add a new company to his NAV2009 database with his own license. This is not working.
After creating the new company a company type is asked. When selecting one the branche specific data is imported, validated and applied.
When applying the data the following error occures:
You do not have permission to insert into the Production Schedule Setup table.

The error is logical because the table is not in his license. But now the customer is not able to create a new company himself.

I have tried to create a new company by importing, validating and applying the branche specific XML files with the customer license (RIM tool).
This is not working properly eather.

Is it normal a customer can't create a new company himself or is the a bug in NAV2009SP1?
Is there a workaround?

Thanks in advance.

    .

Have you imported the data in to Production schedule setup table ?

If the answer is Yes , No problem creating the New company in NAV 2009 SP1.

I am just wondering how somebody will be able to import data before creating a company?

    Hello,

Our customer has a default CRONUS database in NAV2009. He wants to add a new company so he can setup and import data.
Unfortunally an error occures when applying the branche specific data (default XML files from NAV2009). This is because the branche specific data exists of data which is not in the customer license.
I expect this data is skipped, be this isn't the case.

If you click cancel at the creation process the company is created. Unfortunally no branche specific data is imported and applied. Every setup form must be opened manually :-(
The branche specific data is ideal because a lot of setup is done for you and it can be modified easily.
After the creation of the new company you can use the RIM tool to import data such as customers, vendors, items and G/L account.
