GL table error

pls Our systems all over have being giving us an error telling us that

'THe GL Table Has being locked by another user'

its benig known over the years to be a system error any quick solution to that.

Have you searched the forum for Locked, locks, deadlocks, performace etc?

There is plenty of info available.

find out who the other user it is and tell them to stop doing that.



On serious note, I suggest to get an experienced person to check your system and make sure it running at optimal speed.

The errror table locked by user

' The GL Entry Table Can not be Changed because it has bein locked by another user'

what could be responsible for this DeadLock? It has being an issue on the NAV SQL 2009

Pls, if anyone has a solution to dat, pls notify me ASAP.

The error you describe is a "big topic". It involves Indexes, Sum Indexes, Performance Optimization, Code reviewing, Locking order, Hardware setup and so on...

The error you are describing there is NOT a deadlock.
