Consolidation / Dimensions - NAV 2009

Hello

I would like to consolidate several companies without dimension into a company.

The entries created during consolidation process have a business unit code but i would like have this information in a dimension in the company i am consolidating into.

Should i create a dimension in each company i want to export with always the same value (company code) only to find the values in the consolidation company ?

Is this so that you can use analysis reports to compare results of different business units ?

If you look at and use account schedules you will see the column setup already has Business unit totalling already setup this is also true of the Analysis View cards, its just hidden

So i doubt you would need a dimension if you setup your columns correctly since the totalling filter already exists
