Urgent problem with printing report in Dot matrix printer

Hi everyone,
our customer wants to print a single line in a dot matrix with continuous paper feeding.
Our problem is the following:
every time report is running,on line is printed and we want the printed lines to be one after the other. We could solve the problem with making a new form (with very small height) in the print server properties and after to attach it to the printer. Thw customer's printer doesn't accept custom forms. How could we solve this one?

May be you can try to print directly to the printer, without using the report. Report is doing form feed automatically at the end...

In all honesty the simplest (and always the cheapest) solution is to buy a new printer. Sorry but windows does not like dot matrix printers.

Hi,

Maybe you could try to buffer the total number of lines per page into a table or text file. And when you reach the buffer limit, print the lines.
That way you don't have the page feed after every line.
