I would like to ask posting making purchase orders from subcontracting workshheets, how are the item cost and the cost components updated?

Subcontracitng process is nothing but a transfer , receive and Invoice,

I suggest you go through the Manufactuirng costing Manual , it explained in detail about the costing .
