Look up filter

When we are in a form and press F6, to look up the field value, it is not always taking us to the particular value in the table. We have two users who have identical permissions and for one user, it goes to the first line in the table and for the other it goes to the value. Is there any way to control that?

it sounds to me as though you're referring to the zup file.
certain user specific control values are saved within the zup file eg. the last record or field you were on in a list form.

you can control some of these through code eg. when a certain form opens always navigate to the first record - most of the time this is not necessary but there are some occasions when you'd want a certain control to gain focus for various reasons.

Check to see if it's a necessary requirement and what exactly will need to take place - else read up on the zup file and perhaps that'll give youa better understanding of it all.
