Applying Actual Labor to Production Orders by Employee

I have a client who needs to start applying actual labor by employee to production orders. They work on government contracts and have the disciplines in place to do this, although currently they are billing labor directly. I know the output journal does not interface with employee cards and that machine centers need to be applied to one work center only.

Is anyone out there doing this? If so, how?

Hi Karen,

If it is for Information/Report purpose,
'll it be helpful taking Employee as a Dimension and each employee as its value.
You can assign one employee value for each line of posting along with the work-center.

Thanks for the suggestion (dimensions), but it is for gathering actual labor cost on the production order so we need it to pull through to the subledgers.
