Controlling F8 and F4 functionalities

Hi Dear Colleagues,

I am having doubt whether we can control the F4 and F8 functions. As you know when we hit F4 button then the current record gets deleted and also when we hit F8 then the value of the top line will be copied into the current cell in Tabular forms.

Could anybody have any idea about this?

    Depends what you want to do.

    You can try to create a menubutton with a menu-item with those shortcuts but without code on it.
    In the OnOpenForm you can put its height and width (the menubutton needs a name to do this) to 10, so no one sees the button.

    And why you need to "control" them? Consistency of behaviour is a big help for users...
