Getting the minimum value

in a report i want to display the minimum value of the quantity..eg if item1 has 3 values and item2 has 2 values etc
item1 = 45
item1 = 10
item1 = 30

item2 = 9
item2 = 56
i want the report to display that item1 = 10 and item2 = 9

So define a variable to keep track of your minimum quantity. After each record check to see if the value contained in that record is less than the value in your minimum quantity variable. Then display that variable in your section.
