Folks,
I don't know whether Nav. Dev. Toolkit is only supplied for Nav Std DB?
When I selected Open, database, it only searched for *.fdb, and when connecting to server (it looked for Navision DB Server and not SQL Server)....
Then if we have already had a database in SQL, we have to migrate them to Nav Std DB, how troublesome... :?
Please correct me if I have a wrong idea on these...
HTH,
Jemmy

yes and no
til version 1.04 you are right.
But with version 2.0 on Navision developers Toolkit the SQL-Server/Database is supported.

Thanks for your information, I got mad on these..
I just installed Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision Developers Toolkit 2.0. Looks like it's dedicated to Navision 4.0 and not to Navision 3.70.
The SQL Server option is enabled and its information could be retrieved but unfortunately when I selected Navision 3.7 Database, it couldn't opened, error 52017.
Currently I'm working under Navision 3.7, too bad.
Can't wait for Navision 4.0....
