But try to work on the Routing Link code field in Production BOM line and Routing Line.
This field may be useful to generate the reports .
Thank u.
I agree with you that the Routing Link code will help us to show which raw materials are being consumed in which Work Center and which finished/Semi-finished goods are to be produced in which Work Center.
But How to know that the raw materials are available or not in the Work Center ??
Requirement :
While issuing job card, the system will chech and make the job card for one Work Center till stock is found .
Work Centres don't have stock. Locations have and Bins. These are not integrated.
You can integrate them. Recommendation: use only one Location per physical site or at most 2 (one for the shop floor and the finished and one for the raw, setting up your SOs for the finished location and in Mfg. Setup use Components At for the raw mats) because if you have more your Planning Worksheets will get crazy - they always compare demand and supply by Location.
Generally you can try to use a Bin. To keep things simply you can say that for every Work Centre must exist a Bin with the same Code. You can move stuff into the Bin with an Item Reclass. Jnl or with the more advanced warehouse documents etc. etc. It will require quite some customization for it to work well but it is doable.

Can u explain in Detail ?
Production Journal Window gives us the consumption journal and output journals into one.
I want to know the quantity which is going to be consumed in a specific Work Center is physically available or not ?
