Close the accounts for 2009

HI,

I have folowed the steps

Periodic Activities
1) Accounting Period
2)Close Income statement Batch job
3)Gen Jnl


When i see the lines the last the ACC No. is empty i just pulled the last accountin no in the chart of accounts and closed ....i'm i wrong????????

for that the net income needs an account no i d'nt know it means the RETAININING EARNING ACCOUNT

what Acc No.do i need to select........

anybody understood where i'm stucked??????

Retained Earning account : Balance sheet account representing the accumulated loss and profit balance.
