Changing location Serial No

I have a purchase order. I want to change location for items in a row but I cannot to do this because Item tracking is defined.
Errors is "You must to delete the exisisting item tracking before modifying or deleting the Purchase line."

There is a way to avoid to delete and reinsert same serial no. after changed location code ](*,) ??
