In case of a hosted solution where SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition is used as a Back-end, do we need multiple CAL license for the end user to be able to use it or one CAL is enough.
There are multiple options to license SQL Server; here the most common
- Server and CAL; you have to buy on SQL Server license, plus 1 CAL per User
- Per Processor; you buy a license per physical CPU, giving you unlimited CAL
- NAV Runtime; you pay a fixed amount per User, including the CAL and Server license

(And just to mention it: of course, you need to buy the required amount of NAV licenses, too - ask your Dynamics Partner about details)
