Automatic posting of output

In NAV 5 sp1 > Manufacturing is it possible to use automatic posting of output without using routing and workcenters?

Why u want it automatic ?

How system knows how much acutal quantity produced against Planned quantity ?


How system knows how much acutal Scrap percentage ?

What about the Actual capacity consumed against this production ?

I don't. The client does
I explained them all this. They said "Fine, we want this."
They have a very simple production process, no scrap. So far they are using Assembly BOMs and BOM Journal, but they are not happy with it.
They want as much automation as possible. Tomorrow I shall try to explain the risks of this automation once again and it's up to them after all.

What I plan to do is automatic consumption on Release, and automatic output on Finishing the production order.
