Extracting information from word documents to navision

I don't know if this is the right place for my question but anyhow...

I have got a customer who want to do things backwards. They would like to write quotations in word and then extract the information and insert it in Navision.

Does anyone know if this is possible and could point me in the right direction in how to do it?
Hello IT, have you tried to turn it off and on?
Have you checked the cables?
Have you released the filters?

I'd have thought Word isn't a structured enough document to do that (although I'm sure somebody will prove me wrong).

Maybe your customer could look at InfoPath (included in some versions of Office) which would allow them to fill in a quote in a structured way. This can give offline capabilities, so no NAV connection is required at the time. The data could then be imported to NAV in XML format. InfoPath can also use NAV 2009 Web Services, if your customer has them available and would not need to work offline.

Even in Word you can mark some parts as XML elements and save them into XML. Thus you can prepare template and when you fill data in, the data could be transformed into XML.
