We are working with Nav 5 SP1.
A customer needs to access Navision from a computer with Japanese Windows O.S. We received at first an error message saying Navision does not support double-byte characters.

Hopefully found a "FIX" at the partnersource: replace the stx file by another one which accepts double-byte characters.

It worked the first time. However after we exit Navision, the following time the program is run, it again shows the doublebyte character-error.
If zup file is deleted the program starts up correctly.

If anybody dealed with something of the kind, I would really appreciate any suggestion on the subject.

Did you update the fin.stx in both the language folder and exe folder?
