Hi Folks,

I`ve created a form in Navision, that shows the whole order procedure as a business process. Thus, you do not need to click on several functions in the main menu any more. The form shows all necessary activities from getting the order to delivery. All activities can be executed through buttons. I now NEED HELP for the following: I would like to implement a red dot (or something similar, for example a textbox that shows the name of the most recently used button/activity) into the form, that shows which activity has to be executed next. That means that the form asks you for the number of the order and then shows the status of the order. The status quo is, that you do not know which activities have already been done. This is especially goofy if more than one employee works on the procedure of the same order. Can you recommend some books/essays, too?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!

mmmh i think using the order number will help you to find the current state of an order: filter the lines and have a look if one or all are delivered => full or part delivered order ... search for the order number in the posted invoices => order is finished ... maybe using the entrys will give you every needed information. ..

the other way would be to add something like a state-update in the standard posting routines ... but i don't think you should do this ... one update and everthing is for the dogs :(
