Minimum Order Qty.

Hi All,
A final product whose Min.Order Qty. is defined as 20 in its item card. Now a sales order of 6 pcs. of that final product is received against which a Firm planned production order is made.
Now the question is, will the Firm planned production order suggests the qty. to be produced is 20, since the min. order qty. is defined as 20 of that final product.

First thing it is not based on the Minimum Order Quantity.

Second thing is Firm planned prod .order will not suggest .

When you run the Planning worksheet , then only it tells how much quantity has to produce .

    Hi,
    Thanks for the instant reply.

The Planning worksheet is not in the license.
Now consider a scenario-- If a item has a minimum qty. to produce (say 20), then the shop floor has to produce 20 qty. at least even the sales order shows 6 qty.

Then how this scenario be mapped in NAV.

That means client has Production process .

I suggest you try to know about the How Planning Engine works and how it give the good results when it comes to Manufacturig industries.

Explain to client about this , then client is ready to have that granule.
