Is there any option to stop the direct cost entries to G/L.

why you want to stop the Direct cost Entries to G/L ?

There is no need to take inventory value AND COST of goods Sold in G/L.

why client does not want to take the inventory value .

the Option is Inventory setup - > Automatic cost Posting -remove the check mark in this field . System never post the value to inventory accounts.
