NAV 2009 SP1, License upgrade required?

we want to install Dynamics Nav 2009 SP1, we have a License for Nav 2009.
Is there a License upgrade required to install SP1? Can we do this without additional costs?

I think they key there is "licensing costs." Your entire cost will depend on what you are trying to achieve.

Just an executables upgrade?
Are you planning to use any new code that comes with SP1?

If you are using the RTC and moving to SP1 you will need to merge the objects. If you're still on classic an executables only upgrade should be fine. Talk to you partner and they should be able to advise you on your best course of action.
