Wrong Posting of Inventory Posting Group

Hi,

How to correct a posted Sales Invoice that used a wrong Inventory Posting Group. Need to correct this since this has impacted the GL Account and may also affect other reports.

Right.....have to create Return Order

Or just create a manual GL Journal to fix the entries. Why do lots of unnecessary work with inventory if all that matters is the GL.

In addition, you can create some data sheet (NAV report or Excel Sheet) which will calculate the wrong posting impact and you can attach the datasheet along with the GL Journal as a supporting document.

How are we going to correct the item containing wrong dimension and wrong inventory posting group that was posted. We may have reports that are filtered using the Inventory Posting Group and/or Dimension.

How to change the inventory Posting Group and Dimension for those posted transactions.

One thing we need to correct is the Inventory Posting Group that was posted wrong.I am just new and we may have reports that are filtered using the Inventory Posting Group.

then the only solution is Return order - ship & Invoice.
