Except VAT, taxes are recorded to G/L Accounts.
VAT is recorded in it's G/L Acc., and also in the VAT entry.

Indian localiation includes many taxes like Excise, service tax, vat/cst, tds,tcs etc. but it is not possible to include all taxes in NAV mainly because they are not same all across India and also because very few customer will need it so they cannot include it in general software.

You can either record transaction in NAV and maintain other statutory records outside NAV or you can customize.

What is your Nav Localization ?

If it is Indian Localization then only you can use the Structure functionality which is good functionality availble in IN locaization only , to solve the Indian taxation problems.

If it is other localization , use Item Charge functionality
