    I have exact same problem:

    - 64 bit
    - NAS printing PDF
    - Using Windows Tasks to NET START <NASNAME>
    - Problem MAY have occured AFTER installation of Invoice Workflow solution, but not sure
    - Yes, printer assigned in NAV printer selection
    - Yes, printer is default
    - Yes, have logged in as nas user and testet directly in NAV

The weird thing is that is HAS BEEN working and suddenly it doesn't :(

Another weird thing is that if we restart the server then it works (1-2 times?), but the day after it doesn't.

We have tried local administrator and domain administrator.

We have re-installed PDFCreator printer driver.

We have created and tried PDFCreator2 (new instance).

All with no result and it's driving me crazy..

    Please somebody help :)

    Hi

I think I have the answer. I had similiar problems with our NAS. (2 NAS services on same server, both using print spooler)

It is caused by the WindowsOnWindows exe, that is run, when Windows interprets between 32bit and 64bit spooling. The process is called: splwow64.exe.

When it starts the first time it works fine, but to speed up performance for next print, it remains in memory, and runs for some time(as i can see it just runs, until the server reboots.)

There's a registry workaround, to stop the service after af given time, and it can be found here:
    http://www.netomatix.com/articles/KBArt ... x?a=923357

To quickly see if this workaround can fix your problem. Log on to the server, where the NAS is running, and terminate the splwow64.exe process, and then try to print from your NAS Job queue.

It works for me :D Hope it does for you!
