Hello All,
I am trying to reclassify the entire item to a new item. I am thinking of using item journals.
Item A changes to Item B
Process that I am doing in item journals
Item A -10 quantity at cost
Item B 5 quantity at new cost
The vendor charges us processing fee which I need to assign to the new item. How Can I do that?
The whole idea is to not use manufacturing because this is very rare and the client does not want to maintain BOM and Production Orders for this.
Any help would highly appreciated.
Thank you

Use kitting or BOM journal in older versions.0
-
Client is running on NAV 5.0 SP10
-
you can use kitting and use kitting journal to create the new item and consume the old item
When the item charge comes in you can apply it to the old item, and when you run adjust cost, the cost will be moved to the new item.0
