Extremly slowly for insert

I have a big problem.
When I insert a record in a table, I lock it for a much seconds.

Please, more info about hardware of Server, about DB size, (SQL or Navision DB), info about the table (size, no. of records) etc...

Is a Navision BD.
Cache is 800 MB
CommitCache TRUE.
The server has 256GB of Hard Disk and 4GB of RAM.
The server have RAID5

Question: Are you using autoincrement on some field in this table?

No use Autoincrement.But modify are very slowly

Try look at Harddisk Write queue on server in Performance monitor. If it goes to 100% for longer time (time when insert is performed), there is problem (or not optimised point) in your HDDs. Documentation (and I) recomanded to use RAID 1 (faster write op.) and More physical discs (parallel write - may be 100% gain of performance) - split DB to more files on these discs...
