on which basis,how does item "Assessable Value" calculated.

There are lot of parameters which makes assessable value of item for excise purpose in Indian taxation context. It is hard for me to explain all of them here and also to customize all of them. Therefore MS has given a field "Assessable Value" in the item card where you can define the value yourself.
