send email with code unit 397

Alain71Alain71 Member Posts: 10
Hi,

When I send e-mail from NAV using code unit 397 and the method NewMessage, the email goes directly in my draft folder in Outlook.

I am using :
-NAV 5.0 SP1
-OlHandler.dll version 5.0.26084.0
-Outlook 2003 SP3

Is anyone can help me with this problem ?

Thank you very much and have a nice day!

Alain

The message pass through Outlook before it reaches my Exchange Server.

But, as I said before, a lot of them go directly in my draft folder insteed my sent folder In Outlook.

    Anyone can help me?

    Thanks

are you sending test e-mail to yourself?maybe your outlook put mail to yourself in drafts instead of sending them correctly (it's just a guess).
P.S.: are you saying that some mails are sent correctly and some other not?

try to mark mail sender as safe sender list. if you receive it in Draft folder, probably after this Outlook will put them correctly to Inbox folder

    Hi,

FYI : The mail sender is already in safe sender list

Belias, you were right when you said that some mails are sent correctly and some other not.

If you have any idea, please do not hesitate!

    Thanks

there must be a difference with sent and unsent e-mail, find it and you'll probably solve your problem...

With my previous employer we had the same problem mail getting stuck inside the draft folder. Most of them because the e-mail was to large or any other server rule.
