Help! 2010 dates not working for Production Orders

clayfoxclayfox Member Posts: 23
We have been using NAV 2009 for 6 months and have sp1 installed.

I can pick the due date as 1/2/2010 but the starting and ending dates and line dates continue to default to 12/31/99.

If I manually adjust starting or ending dates then I at least get the dates correct.

I am guessing there is something I am missing somewhere regarding dates but obviously this is a big issue right now.

Thanks for any help.

Maybe you are missing calendars for your work centers or machine centers?

You can fix that by doing these steps (I am assuming work centers - the steps are similar for machine centers - check both):
    1. Go to: Manufacturing -> Capacities -> Work Centers / Machine Centers
    2. On the Work Centers page go to: Related Information -> Planning -> Calendar
    3. Choose view by: Year and click Show Matrix
    4. You can now see available capacity on all your work centers. If the number is 0 (blank) for the year you try to use then you need to calculate the calendar for the work centers (step 5-6)
    5. Go to Actions -> Functions -> Calculate
    6. Fill start and end date (and other filters if needed) and click OK

You should now see numbers for available capacity in the years you did the calculation for (you might need to refresh the page).

Let me know if it helps!
