NAV Three Tier
Dear All,
Can anyone explain, for NAV 2009 SP1, what is the difference to install 3 tier on 2 machines (i.e. SQL and NAV server on same machine) and 3 machines(SQL,NAV server on different machines)?
Thanks

From installation point of view, you need to setup delegation.

Dear All,
I have prepared a 3 tier scenario. i.e. I have installed SQL Server 2008 and NAV Server on the same machine.
Its 3 tier architecture on 2 machines.
I have installed RTC on other machine(end user). Now, I can able to open RTC for Cronus Database using Administrator ID.
Now, when I am trying to add windows login, system gives me the error as
"The system failed to retrive the global catalog from active directory.
Active Directory functionality is not available "
Is there any requirement for this? do i need to set delegation? i am not using NAV server as domain service.
Kindly explain.

I believe you can add users only through classic client.
How is that related to 3 tier environment?
