How to remove TDS in Credit Memo

Hi Team
I have posted a purchase invoice with TDS. Due to wrong entry, now am reversing the invoice with credit memo. I understand that TDS cannot be reversed thru credit memo and need to pass TDS adjustment journal.
My question is how do I remove the TDS amount from Credit Memo as it is not allowing to post the transaction(inconsistency error)?
Please help!!
