Decrease databasesize

Hi, I'm working with NAV5.0 SP1 native, my data has decreased much and now I've 50% free database space, I would like to decrease my databasesize to improve (hopefully) the speed.

Is this possible ? Thanks for sharing !

Decreasing your database size will not improve the speed (only the speed of your backup will improve ;-) ).

If you want a smaller database size, you need to backup your database, create a new empty one (with a smaller size), and restore the backup.
Try optimizing your tables to improve the speed: using File -> Database -> Information -> Tables -> Optimize.

If you use SQL-option, you should also think about shrinking the SQL files.
