No.of Copies in report

Hi All,

Is there any way to find how many copies of a report that the user has given for print?

Our client requirement is, to restirct a user not to take print out of a report more than 'x' times. Can be it done in Navision?

This field purpose is different when compared with requirement.

It doesnot solve the problem .

U need to do customization to solve the requirement.

Hi,

One way, my issue is solved with the same logic as given in Sales invoice report.
I didnt use same logic but i have customized it little....I have added code on the preview button to find how many times the report is run.

Is thr anyway to add code to the print button?

What's to stop the user from making a copy of the report? In most offices the copier is right next to the printer, and many times the printer is also the copier.

So true.. we use the Ricoh 9000 ourselves as the companies main printer.
You can count how many times the buttons been pressed but It's not always the # of copies out there.
