How to easy compare two menuitems?

kitikkitik Member Posts: 230
I need to compare two menusuite objects to find out what items were added and where are they located on the menu.
I export both to txt file and I compare them with Compare it!. It's just impossible this way. Almost each line has differences, but not because new items.
Anyway when I finally find a new item... can see, from the txt file, where in the menu is the item added.

So my question is.. how do I easy compare two menuitems? Is there any tool?

Thanks in advance,
Salut!

There is a tool in mibuso download that allows to load menusuite and it shows the menues.

I would use that tool to find what was added, and create a new menue suite.

The other option is not to merge them but give each a different number and let NAV client render them.

Can I do that? I wan't to know the added items in order to add them also on the RTC menu.
I'll try to find the tool on the download section.

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi

There is an application named ARAXIS.
This program allows you to compare 2 TXT files, so you export the 2 menusuits to TXT file and you can compare it. The program sais where are the diferences and you can copy code in the same program betwen the text files

Thanks, but Araxis does the same as the Compare it!. If one does not help, neither will the other one.
