Creation of COA in company and Replication in others

Hi

My client has 5 companies and the COA will be common across all companies. Is there anyway we can create the GL Account in company and seamlessly replicate the same GL Account in other companies?

Please let me know....

Use the Setup Checklist.

How-to

1.- Open the company where \you want to copy

to
2.- Open the Setup Checklist: Administration > Application Setup > General > Setup Checklist
3.- Select the line G/L Account
4.- Select Functions > Copy Data to open the Copy Data window
5.- In Copy from field enter the name of the company you want to copy from
6.- Select the line G/L Account
7.- Click OK
8.- Click Yes in dialog asking: "Do you want to copy the data from the G/L Account table in CRONUS?"


Ready and repeat for all other companies you want to do this for.

The solution will work at the time of initial creation only and there will be no control after that.
Search for "Data per company" feature and its do's and dont's on the forum. I hope this will help.
