Allocation based on Dimensions

Hi - please advise on the following

v4 allows a GL to have postings split by a fixed percentage to various dimensions.
For example

GL 600300 (payroll)

deptartment 30%
cost ctr 30%
Purpose 40%

However, the scenario is that i would like several different percentage combinations posted to the same GL:
eg

GL 600300 (payroll)

deptartment 10%
cost ctr 10%
Purpose 80%

AND

GL 600300 (payroll)

deptartment 40%
cost ctr 30%
Purpose 30%

I understand this cannot be done in V4? But it can in AX2009?
If that is correct some basic instructions please for AX2009.
