Cannot connect RTC to SQL Server

Hi Friends,
I have MS Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1 Server version on another server machine.
I also have installed MS Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1 in client machine.
I am finding it difficult to connect to the Server from the client machine using RTC.
But it is getting connected via Classic client.

It would be great if anyone could provide a solution for this.

Did you already consult the nav_install.chm help which is provided on the NAV 2009 product CD? Have a look at the topic Walkthrough: Installing the Three Tiers On Two Computers.

Hi,

1) Make sure nav server windows service is installed
2) started with network service user.
3)Add network user service to sql database security.
4) Configure settings file
5) when opening roletailored the path is: servername or IP:7046/DynamicsNav press enter
