Deleted Purchase Line, Footer by accident..

Nav 3.10.
I copied a report and saved it as something else.
Modified it as needed.
I wanted a total at the bottom, which it did not have before.. I have it CREATETOTALS, but they come out as 0.00. Am I only allowed to put my total in the "Purchase Line, Footer" section?
If so, I deleted that earlier to save space.. is there any way to add it back or should I just copy my report again and start over?

Really that's a decision only you can make. There are three options:
1/ Restore the old and redo any work you did since.
2/ Add back the section you removed along with sections and code.
3/ Export both to text and merge.
If you don;t know which is best then I recommend you try all three and use it as a learning excessive so that next time you feel comfortable to decide which method suits you best.
Personally in most cases like this, I restore the old object to another db (or as a different report number) and then manually put back in the removed section. (i.e. 2/ )David Singleton0 -
I personally prefer merging the two object text files, it takes me less time than copying sections and code, and that way I don't forget any code that is 'hidden' behind sections and controls.0

View-> Sections->Hit F3 to add a new section.
You have choices.
1.Trans Footer
2.Group Footer
3.Footer0 -

It would take you less time to create a report with t he wizard and try it than it takes you to write the post here asking.
Not that no one wants to help, but you know teach a man to fish and all that.David Singleton0
