Right, I’ve got an interesting one here, using standard classic client Navision functionality in versions 4 and above I think. It is with the sales & marketing interactions that use word mail merge documents.

After creating a merge a merge document through the standard functionality of ‘Create Interaction’. It saves the interaction within the interaction log entries. Great so far! However when you open up the document it seems to do everything it should, however Navision leaves the document in ‘Mail Merge’ mode, so that if you save this document and try and re-open it, it pops up a really nasty SQL error moaning that it can’t find the data source.

After this it does say that you can ‘Remove the Merge Information’, but my challenge is to try and to find the function call to automate this before the file is finally exported.

Does anybody know a way in which this can be achieved?
