I have created a report but need to create totals on the report to work out whether the goods were shipped on time and in full. The report itself is basically displaying information about goods shipped grouped by location by shipment no.
I thought that i would be able to do this by adding a total fields data item but clearly this is more complicated than this..I'd really appreciate some help or a push in the right direction as i'm really not sure
Sorry and thanks !

I think the "totals" in the original post was incorrectly used. Totals are applied after a section of information is displayed (like after a Location in an inventory report, before the next location, the total Qty of the inventory in the location is displayed).
Daniel is right though, you can create a field in the OnAfterGetItem of the DataItem on the report; the field should be an integer. Populate it with intNewField := Date1 - Date2. The integer value I believe will be in days. If you have DateTime datatypes, you can use a duration datatype as the result of the subtraction of the two DateTimes.
