Multiple Services on same NAS

rakeshrbrakeshrb Member Posts: 7
Hello Everyone,

I have 2 database using same database server and same application server. (2 client with 2 different licence).
When i start NAS1 for DATA1, its working well. But when i try to start NAS2 for DATA2 its not able to start.

Your program license does not permit more users to work simultaneously.
Wait until another user has quit the program.
Contact your system manager if you want to allow more simultaneous users on your system.

But, when i stop NAS1 for DATA1 and try to start NAS2 for DATA2 it works. But same error will appear, when i try to start NAS1 for DATA1.

(using different NAS folder and exe to start different NAS)

Please guide.

Kind Regards

Licenses are stored on the master database.

In order to have two separate licenses, you need to check File->database->alter->In one of the tabs there is a check box that allows to store license per database.
You need to do this in each database.

Once that is checked the license is stored in each database. This requires a granule in your license.

Once that is done, then the NAS will use the two licenses separately.

Currently I see that you are only one license and you have 1 free NAS and you need an aditional NAS license if you only have 1 license on the server.
